Botswana’s Chobe safaris

Covid had her hold on us for a bit and did interfere a bunch with our travel plans. But Botswana removing those restrictions especially on vaccinated wanderers just did the trick for me….I mean, who wants their travel plans ruined suddenly because you tested positive?

Some travellers say there isn’t much to see in Botswana,’touristically’ speaking but I think that is all dependent on what you call fun, right?

Animal loving wanderers should try the southern part of the country which is a haven of most African animal species like Impala, impala-look alikes, all sorts of birds, crocodiles and elephants.

Of course lions are there but have never really been the luckiest at seeing them on my game drives….

Booking these safaris online is okay but sometimes it’s better to just go directly to the companies that offer these services and book directly in person.

When your game drive and boat cruise are done it is the lovely sunset view that completes the joys of mingling with nature. This place has lovely sunset views!

Oh…but what a lovely sunset you are.
